What will it cost me after launch?
Usually just your domain name, about $12 a year. Hosting is free. If you take payments, your payment company (like Square or Stripe) charges its normal card fees. A care plan is optional.
What do I actually own?
Everything: your domain, your accounts, your website and your customer data. Nothing depends on my personal accounts, and you can take it anywhere.
How do payments work?
Half to start and half when your site goes live. Need it spread out more? Just ask.
How long does it take?
Most sites go live in 2–4 weeks, depending on the package and how quickly we gather your words and photos.
Do I need to write the words and take the photos?
It helps, but you don't have to do it alone. I can write your pages from a quick conversation and help you get great photos with just your phone.
What if I need changes later?
Text, prices, photos and hours you can change yourself from your admin. For anything bigger, I'm here by the hour, or it's included in a care plan.
Will my site show up on Google?
Every site is built Google-ready: fast, mobile-friendly and set up so Google understands your business. No one can honestly promise rankings, but this is the foundation they're built on, and I'll show you next steps like your Google Business Profile.
Can you redo the website I already have?
Yes, that's a website makeover. I'll move over what's working, fix what isn't, and keep your domain with redirects so customers and Google can still find you. It's priced like the packages, often less since your content already exists.
Do you only work with Chicago-area businesses?
No, I work with small businesses anywhere in the US over video and email. If you're in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs, I'm happy to meet in person too.
